- Regular
Commercial Dowel Rods; 1/8" - 2-7/8" diameters, trimmed accurately to
any length up to 48"
- Special
Diameters; 1/10", 1/12", 5/32", 7/32", 9/16", 11/16",13/16",15/16",
3", 4", 5" and above.
- Special
Dowel Lengths: 5', 6', 8', 10', 12', 14', 16', 20' and above. While
typically manufactured from solid stock, dowels are also available in
laminated and finger-jointed construction.
Species
- Available
from Select New England Hardwoods: White Birch, Rock Maple, White Ash.
- Available
in other Special Hardwoods: Cherry, Hickory, Mahogany, Oak, Poplar,
Ramin, Teak and Walnut.
Extra
Operations
- We are
equipped to perform additional operations such as: Rounding, Chamfering,
Pointing, Grooving, Drilling, Tenoning, Beveling, Sanding, Slotting,
and Finishing.
Kindly
specify precision lengths. Dowels less than 36" and 48" are often attractively
priced as "shorts" in volume.
